Exploración neuropsicológica y socio-afectiva de un hombre con epilepsia del lóbulo parietal. Un estudio de caso

Abstract

Estudio de caso que recopila datos biográficos y clínicos, los cuales son triangulados con el análisis de la aplicación de la Batería de Luria, donde se quiere reconstruir desde la polifonía la historia de vida de un hombre con epilepsia del lóbulo parietal; de esta manera, la investigación es abordada desde 3 periodos de vida del sujeto, el primer momento, antes de la aparición de las convulsiones, el segundo, desde el diagnóstico hasta los estudios previos a la lobotomía (resección del foco donde se originan las convulsiones) y la tercera, en el posoperatorio. La indagación parte de sus objetivos para darle legitimidad a los hitos de acontecimientos que han marcado la vida del sujeto y los sistemas en que se desenvuelve (familiar, social, laboral y académico), que a su vez con la historia clínica se contextualiza con la particularidad del caso y crea maneras de comprender un diagnóstico de enfermedad crónica y se complementa con la percepción que tiene el sujeto sobre las crisis convulsivas y sus implicaciones.

Case study that collects biographical and clinical data, which are triangulated with the analysis of the application of the Battery of Luria, where it is intended to reconstruct from the polyphony the life history of a man with parietal lobe epilepsy; In this way, the investigation is approached from 3 periods of life of the subject, the first moment, before the appearance and diagnosis of seizures, the second, from diagnosis to studies prior to lobotomy (resection of the focus where they originate seizures) and third, in the postoperative period. The inquiry starts from its objectives to give legitimacy to the milestones of events that have marked the life of the subject and the systems in which it operates (family, social, work and academic), which in turn with the clinical history is contextualized with the particularity of the case and creates ways to understand a diagnosis of chronic disease and is complemented by the perception that the subject has about seizures and implications.
