This study was made within the framework of characterizing the petrochemical and plastic sector and aims to analyze different models of organizational management for innovation. The methodology used was that of multiple explicative cases, taking the petrochemical-plastic cluster in Cartagena de Indias as the analysis unit. Conclusions reveal that the businesses studied do not have defined models for managing innovation, but are still based on quality management and a customer service system.
