dc.description.abstractTelemedicine, according to the American Telemedicine Association, "is the use of exchange of medical information from one place to another, via electronic communication to improve the health status of a patient ”. Currently, one of the fields of action in the scientific community makes efforts to improve acquisition, filtering and transmission of data, allowing medical examinations of different nature are sent from the place where the sample is made to the location of the specialist in charge of carrying out the diagnosis; However, the costs to access a service like this, are usually very high and difficult access for families and inhabitants located in rural areas, for this reason, is it is necessary to promote the development of good performance and low cost systems, that they be directed to populations where health centers do not have the resources and whose needs are evident. Taking into account the above, a system was designed and implemented that captured the heart signal with the help of AD8232 integrated circuit, specific for signs of the heart. This is run by the ARM STM32f405 microcontroller, the which feeds the device and through an analog-digital converter receives the data and stores it. Subsequently, with the same microcontroller they are encrypted the signals using the AES algorithm to finally send them via WiFi to a online database, where samples are downloaded from another device, to thus decrypt and graph the acquired signal. Also, a micro SD is used as Backup to save the data in case the internet connection fails.
