Budismo tibetano y estilo terapéutico en integración en el escenario clínico sistémico

Abstract

The current graduate paper, with emphasis on deepening, allow to understand with a single case study, the processes of change; towards the reaffirmation of the sexual diversity, related to the sexual identity and orientation of a young adult, who came searching for help to the Psychological Care Services of the Saint Thomas University (SAP), in Bogotá. At the same time, in the recognition of the therapeutic style, emerges the convergence between compassion, love and here and now as Buddhist operating principles together with self-and hetero-reference, reflexivity as Systemic operating principles, recognizing the importance to establish a conversation with the personal and professional dimensions in the psychotherapeutic practice, in favor of a recursive and transformative change. A single case study and the clinical history as a vignette with nine (9) sessions done, were used as methodology. Analyzes were performed for each of the sessions. As a result, the objectives set during the development of the intervention and as well at the closure of the case were reported. It is suggested to consider in the intervention style early Buddhist operators, like compassion and love, for enhancing ecological interventions, and changes that generate, in this way, further changes over the time.
