Resumen
The organizational processes carried out by Afro-descendant communities in the Bajo Atrato have been a subject of great interest to the social sciences, the collective action of these communities is carried out in a context of armed conflict and the execution of large development projects, which is the central theme of the present investigation.
Taking ASCOBA (Association of Community Councils and Low-Level Organizations) as the central subject, analyzing the collective action that said organization develops in such a subregion of the department of Chocó, in terms of ethnodevelopment, cultural identity and territory.
Defining the Community Councils and ASCOBA as collective actions with demands regarding ethnic-territorial rights, the proposals made by said organization since the formulation of its Ethnodevelopment Plan for the strengthening of territorial appropriation and cultural identity were analyzed.
For this, it was decided to propose a qualitative methodological design, which from hermeneutics seeks to interpret and reveal the latent meaning of the proposals and discourses that the organization makes.
Using the content analysis technique to identify and characterize the organization, its proposals and also the context and the actors that influence its organizational dynamics.
