dc.description.abstract | Presentation on the role of innovation in the business model as one of the factors in business success. The literature review is complemented with a technical visit to two North American companies: Wal-Mart and Elmer Candy Corporation. A comparison of business models and some of their strategies is made. The findings of this comparison are presented, highlighting strategies such as implementation of new technologies, definition of a supply chain management system, cost reduction, using the power of negotiation with suppliers, creating a niche and relying on tradition. as well as carrying out a very dedicated management of human talent. | |
