Abstract

The need to cover a greater percentage of the population of the municipality of Floridablanca that can access sports, recreation and leisure activities, allows private enterprise to directly support the demand evident in this type of population, Therefore, Floridablanca has a population of children and youth equal to 74,489 according to data from the metropolitan observatory of Santander 2018, of this population, it only covers between 15 and 20 % with the various programmes offered by IDEFLORIDABLANCA. Therefore, according to the above data, the need for this study and the feasibility of starting up a sports company that supports the coverage of municipal needs from the private sector is indicated. A market analysis was carried out through a descriptive research method where data were collected through the application of an instrument endorsed by the faculty of physical culture, sport and recreation, and in turn, an analysis of the competition and the sector was carried out, through the collection of information found on the internet and through telephone calls to the companies already incorporated in the area. As a result it was found that it is feasible to set up and start up a sports company focused on skating in the municipality of Floridablanca since according to the needs of the environment and our projections as entrepreneurs is given response to needs expressed in price, vocational training, stage and safety.
