Resumen
This article reflection is based on intertextual analysis between novel La Vorágine (1924), by José Eustasio Rivera and the film El abrazo de la Serpiente (2015), by Ciro Guerra, the analysis is grounded on innocence as a characteristic of indigenous peoples and that, related to childhood, in a double sense as loss and also as power, allows not only a historical and sociocultural reading, but also a vindication of the role of the indigenous in the aesthetic plane. A rereading of Rivera's work is presented, accompanied by Alegría's work, thinking that categories considered minor associated with the affective such as innocence, childhood and others, allow the national history to be redefined from the literary text.
