Resumen
Autofiction and the processes of identity construction are an important part of contemporary literary developments, particularly from the complex processes involved in the understanding of the individual and his subjectivity in recent decades. To understand these categories in the contemporary Hispanic work, is the central objective of this document, which takes as a central literary text the novel "El Mundo" by Juan José Millás. From the analysis of the work it is established that the Autoficción can be a strategy used in the narrative, and expresses a cross of causes in which the autobiography, the individual or collective memory and the novel converge, without being totally none of these and establishing at the same time a contradictory scenario given that "transgresses the principle of distance of author and character that governs the novelistic pact and the principle of veracity of the autobiographical pact" (Alberca, 1999), but that at the same time allows the author to hide to take advantage of the literary framework to give an account of his life experience, projecting himself in an identity with which he finds himself in conflict, thanks to the real and fictional elements that underlie, which are and are not at the same time.
