Abstract

The project is been developing in the Mutis neighborhood, which belongs to the normative zone number 7, in order to complement de high educational demands of the zone with an equipment of a public caracter and which the users can use on a free and open way. The Mutis neighborhood connects directly with the center of the city and with the educational area of Real de Minas neightborhood, where you can find a lot of institutions such as schools, universities and training centers which target specific areas of the population. This area of the city is chosen to carry out an intervention through an architectural object which results in dynamics of the social inclusive and improve the educational level of the citizens, arousing the interest in the activities directed to the cultural and educational formation. This library will have reading spaces, exhibition halls, newspaper library, children's area, didactic playroom and digital classrooms, which allow all types of users to access various information media.
