In this work we want to show the role of rural tourism, panela agroindustry and nature as a strategy for the creation of rural projects and thus promote sustainable development, employment generation, added value and agroindustrial productivity. For this, a theoretical approach to the subject under study is carried out, the relationships between tourism and rural development are analyzed, the strategy that is proposed in the Development Plan of San José de Pare is studied, focusing on its infrastructure, tourism, mobility, ecotourism and dynamics in general that have been analyzed over the years. The importance is considered when promoting tourism in its spaces and natural places that help the sector to preserve its legacy and its vocation.
