The defectiveness in the processes is linked to problems in the design and fluidity of its execution, in the case of production, continuous improvement is always sought. Depending on the sector of the industry in which it is located, it will have different variables that create a balance. In many cases, the repair or improvement of one of the variables causes the mismatch of another or can create a new variable to the system.
The main defect that has the process to study is the pieces hit, this is due to the fact that it is a process in which it mostly requires human intervention for its operation, the general objective of this project is to reduce the pieces hit in order to reduce rework and consequently increase efficiency in the long term.
The methodology of this process was based on the analysis of the data obtained in the observation of the process. The main tools used in these analysis were the Ishikawa, Pareto and 8 D's diagrams (eight disciplines).
These tools allowed having the base to determine which would be the proposals of improvement for the processor where they had to be focused, because the causes were visualized, the importance or relevance of the defects and the follow-up to the trials and tests.
Based on the results of each analysis, the exercises and operations that were required to validate these proposals and their effectiveness were defined; each test is documented with data and observations. The results of these tests were taken to define proposals in the project.
It is very important to document and validate the causes that encompass a problem in the process, only in this way the proposals and actions for improvement can be inferred as effective and the possibilities of failure to the process are reduced.
