Resumen
The text contained in the degree project document called "Software Development of an Information System for the Acquisition and Management of Student Data at the Liceo Lunita de Chía School" specifically describes the processes, phases of its execution. The proposed project is based on the XP (Extreme Programming) methodology, where 4 phases are proposed for its execution, the first of these being the planning phase where, through meetings with the members of the administrative staff of the Liceo Lunita de Chía institution, it is tabulated and characterize various data and information, such as requirements, needs, processes carried out by the institution and any information necessary to understand the context of the system, the second phase includes the design of the system by proposing a schematic solution describing the functionalities of the users together with associated processes. As well as the database model stating its tables and relationships, the third phase consists of the development of the application based on the requirements set forth in the planning phase. Finally, the fourth phase consists of carrying out constant tests validating the functionality of the application.
What was desired to obtain with this project is to develop an information system that would allow the institution to support administrative processes in such a way that it could have adequate management, security and protection of the information manipulated in said processes.
