Nuevo Diseño del Estadio de Atletismo “La Flora”

Abstract

The new design of the “La Flora” athletics stadium aims to generate recreational, sports and didactic concentration and integration spaces, in ecological, economic, and socially useful matters. The project is developed through the foundation of a sequential process of research, documentation and approach to the compositional and technical development of the architectural element, based on the theoretical reference of hedonistic sustainability proposed by Bjarke Ingels. Where hedonism functions as the trend in the pursuit of pleasure and well-being as a superior purpose and foundation of life, in this way it is intrinsically related to the practice of sport. Therefore, the architectural proposal that allows its users to have and appropriate multiple functions in the spaces projected in the new design of the stadium, thus improving the quality of life of the inhabitants of the city of Bucaramanga.
