Abstract

Analyzing the struggles of certain actors to establish discursive meanings in the political scenario of public opinion, effectively implies understanding some characteristics of theoretical and contextual aspects that give the possibility of recognizing that in a specific media converge different views in the conception and signifiers of social phenomena, and to this extent, it is legitimate to establish that the probability of defining the social order and its frameworks of imposition are centralized by virtue of the view of some actors of social power. The feasibility of understanding the scenario of public opinion1 makes us reflect on the role symbolized by columnists who analyze the political and social situation of the country, and therefore they become the object of study of this research. This social class in particular concentrates the capacity to produce discourses on points of general interest and therefore the ability to act consciously on the political/social world and its practices.
