Resumen
After more than fifty years of armed and social conflict in Colombia, which have caused approximately 220,000 people to die (Centro de Memoria Histórica, 2013, p 20), serious acts of violence persist today that make the numbers continue to rise.
In the midst of the dialogues that the government maintains with the FARC guerrillas, the murders, disappearances, lack of guarantees and decent conditions for the rural and urban population, continue to plague the inhabitants of rural areas and cities (United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, 2014, p.7).
The existence of strong political currents detracting from the peace process has not impeded achievements such as participation and dialogue with the diverse victims of this conflict.
However, a large part of the population in Colombia is unaware of the problems present in contexts of marginality, exclusion and discrimination, of rural populations farthest from urban centers that have lived in the midst of social and armed conflict, as well as the processes carried out by social organizations, organizations defending human rights, indigenous peoples, Afro-descendants and peasants.
Some of these processes make up a network of communities building peace in the territories (CONPAZ), made up of communities located in places where the social and armed conflict has taken hold, and where, at the same time, there is great interest from companies. national and international, as well as by legal and illegal armed groups.
