Valoración de los riesgos mediante la encuesta de clima en seguridad del paciente en el consultorio independiente Dental Esthetics

Abstract

In the current time, the management in each of the health institutions that develop a good patient safety climate increases the development of health care productivity. Objective: To assess the levels of patient safety through the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality AHQR patient safety climate survey in the independent professional Dental Esthetics office in the city of Barrancabermeja and Bucaramanga. Methods: This study allowed the application of the AHQR survey to eight people who are part of the independent professional Dental Esthetics practice. Results: From the eight surveys carried out in the independent professional dental office Dental Esthetics, it was possible to identify that the total number of respondents showed a high reporting of adverse events; in addition, the organizational part of the office maintains the organizational learning processes; other strengths are good teamwork and openness in clear and concise communication for dental care. Conclusion: It was possible to determine the different strengths and opportunities for improvement of the independent professional dental office Dental Esthetics.
