dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this report is to present, from a learning perspective, in the work environment of the civil engineer, the development of his functions in the area of coal mining and coke production with the construction process of coke ovens and administrative offices in the San Carlos plant in the municipality of Guachetá, Cundinamarca. The development of the activities is carried out with the support of the project management group of INCARSA S.A.S. (Industria Carbonífera de Samacá), an allied company of C.I. MILPA S.A., in charge of coal exploitation and operation of metallurgical coke production plants since 2000, in different municipalities of the departments of Boyacá and Cundinamarca.
