Abstract

The purpose of the present work is the Pathological study of the “calicanto” masonry bridge over the Rio Grande, Caloto municipality, Cauca department. The injuries were studied making the corresponding diagnosis, having as support the visits, visual inspections and measurements, which showed the level of deterioration. To determine what were the causes that led to the partial collapse of the northern tympanum of the Calicanto Bridge that occurred in July 2020, the severity of the injuries, their clinical history, materiality, immediate context, constructive system, external factors and possible factors were analyzed. anthropic actions that may have worsened their condition.
