Resumen
This study was carried out with the objective of demonstrating the levels of biomechanical risk due to repetitive movements in the upper extremities in workers of the "Steven Cano" hairdressing living roomthrough an evaluation and identification of critical processes by the Lest methodology, which helps to evaluate the workplace, likewise tools such as luxmeter, sonometer and thermal environment were used, resulting in Stylists and manicurists being the critical positions. The method used to evaluate the level of risk in the upper extremities of the critical positions is known as the Ocra Method, which gave a Medium-High level, for this reason corrective and preventive actions are proposed through elimination, substitution, engineering control, administrative control and use of EPPS. This study was carried out in a health contingency.
