Resumen
The present investigation developed a diagnosis for the implementation of a piezoelectric tile system, as a renewable energy alternative in Santo Tomas Villavicencio University. The above, through the design and construction of a prototype of 41 x 41 cm, complying with economic, environmental and quality criteria, evaluating through a pilot test in the 103rd room of the campus clear waters, its resistance to weight and its energetic behavior in a controlled pedestrian flow, yielding a production per foot of 0.0072 W.
Then, we proceeded to choose two potential points taking into account the largest pedestrian flows, these being the ramp before reaching the lobby and the goal. There, an analysis was made of how many tiles could be positioned, and how much energy they would generate, yielding a 180 total of tiles with an annual production of 107,71 W in the two points for the year 2019. On the other hand, the annual energy demand of the university was estimated taking into account the historical energy consumption from 2014 to 2018, yielding 1780150.8 kW / h for the year 2019. With the above, it was possible to estimate the economic viability generated by the system, in addition to the benefits environmental impacts generated by the project.
