Resumen
The research work was done with a qualitative model focused on a case study. In that sense, an epistemological foundation was established in the hermeneutic approach of critical validation in which a structured historicist documentary review, field research and direct observation converged. The "Almirante Padilla" Naval School was the training model analyzed. The results found are conclusive regarding the urgent need to review the selection procedures for entry into the military institution, the verification of the evaluation and control systems during the development of the military naval training phase, the permanent and adequate monitoring of the work of the middle commanders who govern the day-to-day life at the training school, the restructuring of the assignment process of ENAP's plant officers and finally the need to implement axiological tests to determine the personal conditions of those who graduate as officers, as well as the due follow-up during the course of their career in order to detect out of the ordinary behavior before they are exposed in cases of administrative indelicacy, unethical behavior and even worse in behavior that compromises the prestige and image of the country and its institutions. It is considered that the scope of the work will be of national interest since the motivations for carrying it out are common to the other military forces of Colombia and what is found here is applicable to the training processes of all of them
