Resumen
The purpose of this Project is to carry out an analysis of the relevance of the professional training of the programs of the division of economic, administrative and accounting sciences of the USTA-Bucaramanga with the labor needs of the financial sector of the city. The study was carried out, based on a single measurement methodology, so that the professional performance requirements referred to by the productive sector are approached holistically. The study is carried out in order to contribute to the missionary objectives of the University, which focus on the training of professionals who support the resolution of social, political, cultural and economic problems posed by society. In this way, it is necessary to evaluate the labor requirements through information provided by primary sources (directives of the companies in the productive sector) and reviews of secondary sources (follow-up of job offers, employment figures and the employment relationship of graduates, requirements of the Ministry of Education and accreditation of higher education, among others) compared with the analysis of the educational projects of the programs under study and interviews with managers, teachers, students and graduates of said programs. In this way, objective and real information is obtained on the training intended and actually offered to students, with respect to what is required of them in their professional performance.
