Resumen
When designing the connections between beams and Pile / Column using the top down construction method, extra elements such as steel dies or jackets are required, which guarantee the monolithic operation of the system, but do not allow continuous development of the mezzanine steels through the vertical elements. That is why, the objective of this project is to develop a connection that allows the development of the longitudinal reinforcement of the mezzanine through the vertical elements, for which it is proposed to demolish the concrete of the pile / column in this part of the node, as consequently the reinforcement of the pile / column will assume all the vertical load produced at that time, consecutively the steels of the mezzanine are installed for its previous smelting and thus getting the elements to work monolithically.
The vertical load will vary according to: the location of the pile (Central, Perimeter or corner), the level of the basement in which the connection is made, and the number of floors built simultaneously; For this reason, different types of combinations are designed so that they can be used in the cases outlined above.
The following procedure is carried out for the development of this project:
Chapter 1, in which the objectives and scope of the project are discussed, additionally the times established in each of the proposed phases are presented.
Chapter 2, the four design parameters are established (creep resistance, buckling resistance, bar spacing and minimum price per linear meter of pile / column) and some factors that affect the analysis are raised.
Chapter 3, the analysis is described and the models that meet the criteria established in previous chapters are selected.
Chapter 4-5, the assertiveness and truthfulness of the theoretical data is demonstrated, through the SAP2000 structural analysis program and finally, the detailed drawings of the best connections, which include dimensions, materials and construction processes, are presented.
It should be noted that this project focuses solely on the compression analysis of steels, which comprises two factors: creep resistance and buckling. For its elaboration and implementation, the research remains open for future resistant and constructive earthquake analyzes.
