La comunicación y el buen vivir: la apuesta social de los jóvenes de Soacha

Abstract

This document gives an account of the research carried out in the municipality of Soacha that aims to show the potential that young people have for social transformation, focused on the artistic and cultural collectives of the municipality. This research will provide an overview of the perception that the Soachuna community has of its territory, in addition to knowing the dynamics of youth groups and the impact they have generated in their environment. For this it was necessary to carry out participant observation and interviews with youth leaders and the community that participates in their projects, which allowed defining the concept that they have about the categories of youth, coexistence and citizen participation. The collection and analysis of this information evidenced the positive aspects of Soacha and the importance of communication in community initiatives led by young people in this municipality. This investigative work is an approach to the processes that communities develop to improve the living conditions of their territory, these initiatives have been developing in different parts of the country and the world, characterized by the active participation of young people who have assumed the role of managers of social transformation
