Resumen
His research is located in the analysis of ecoturism exercised by local communities, from two experiences in theDepartment of Guaviare: Vere da Damas del Nare in San Josedel Guaviare and indigenous shelter Puerto Monf ort inMiraflores, during the period of June 2017 to July 2018; With which they asked about the circumstances that allow to be an enhancer of community development; in light of the proposals of Arturo Escobar in relation to the recognition he gives to the communities in the defense of their territory and their practices as a proposal for an alternative development. (Escobar, 1999b)
The present is a qualitative study carried out using the IAP Research- Action-Participation technique, proposed by Orlando Fals Borda, where the community becomes an active subject in the research process, which made it possible to demonstrate the resistance and persistence of the communities of the Guaviare, by touring its historical trajectories; likewise the recognition of two who share the love for the Colombian Amazon and the desire to protect and preserve it.
These communities are the ones that contributed to the construction of a proposal so that, in the public agendas of the department, the circumstances that allow ecotourism to enhance community development can be recognized, based on the leading role of local communities with the permanent accompaniment of the institutions, the analysis of the carrying capacity of the ecosystems, among others protected by clear public policies and in accordance with the particularities of the Amazon region.
The doors are left open for analysis from different perspectives to the great challenge of maintaining a balance between an ecotourism that generates economic income to the communities, and the pressing need to ensure the conservation of the Amazonian ecosystem as a vital input to contribute to the preservation of the life of the region, the country and the world.
