dc.description.abstract | In the following project, an exploratory analysis was performed using the data cleaning technique to an information base provided by the Colombian National Civil Aeronautics AEROCIVIL, where the delay times of the year 2018 were evaluated and the performance of the airlines was classified by their performance during that year. With the information, the intention was to identify the most appropriate statistical model in which the data and causes of delays are concentrated at the El Dorado International Airport in the city of Bogotá.
The cleaning and categorization of data was carried out under the data analytics methodology, where the variables to be treated were established through the data system, and the behavior of the information was determined during the year 2018. This study was done in order to analyze the information for decision-making later with the purpose of this study and thus improve the competitiveness of El Dorado from data analytics. This research project is done in order to apply for my degree option through the application of information processing from data analytics, in addition to providing information to optimize the aviation system at the airport so that can improve your competitiveness as a HUB. | |
