Abstract

The Bocas del Atrato Collective Walk is a project whose main objective is to integrate the existing urban components in the place, highlighting its shore for the well-being of the community. This project is an opportunity to promote tourism in Bocas del Atrato, making this territory known as a tourist corregimiento and thus be able to improve the quality of life of the inhabitants of this place; promote trade; and increase their economic, cultural, ecological and social development.

The project stems from the need to generate an urban system through recreational spaces that connect with existing facilities in the Bocas district; and encourage entering the mangrove with walkways and new leisure spaces related to tourism, the fauna and flora of the place. For this reason, this collective walk is divided into construction stages, giving priority to the first stage of the project, which intervenes on the banks of the Bocas del Atrato river, since the intervention of this border would cover the urban area of ​​the corregimiento that would be endowed with with urban spaces for the community, integration of the educational center to the landing area and restaurants that currently exist in Bocas.
