Resumen
The present work of degree was located in the group of psychology, family and networks; from the research line psychology of human systems and mental health; from the macro project “Family stories and narratives in diverse contexts”, from the Master in Clinical and Family Psychology of the Santo Tomás University.
The objective of this research is to generate new understandings about the identity construction of a person who went through an addictive pattern, through the mobilization of artistic resources such as the Clown in a psychotherapeutic process, and the way in which the self-referential principles were oriented in the therapist.
The research was development with a qualitative single-case design methodology developed at SAP (Servicio de Asistencia Psicológica). The case attended was that of a 16-year-old boy, who had as a reason for consultation the redefinition of his identity, because he went through an addictive pattern.
As an intervention strategy, the Clown was used in articulation with the systemic therapeutic process, which enabled reflective conversations for the emergence of change and the transformation of the identity processes of the young person.
The contribution made in the research is articulated with systemic intervention processes with artistic strategies such as Clown, to mobilize identity construction processes, family interactions against the addictive pattern and the re-meaning of it, and how this was related with the psychotherapist in the way he mobilized against the use of strategy and its self-referential processes.
