The American Board of Orthodontic (ABO) provides an index that allows the evaluation of models and radiographs, this facilitates different parameters which allow to determine if the finalized case is approved or not, according to score. This descriptive cross-sectional study evaluates the static clinical results of the treatments completed in the Postgraduate Orthodontics of the Santo Tomás University, during the 2017-2019 period and its relationship with the complexity of malocclusion, orthodontic technique, among others. Objective: To evaluate the quality of the finished orthodontic treatments, carried out by the students of the Specialization in Orthodontics in the Santo Tomás University clinics, on study models and panoramic radiographs; according to the OGS index of the American Board of Orthodontics (ABO) .Materials and Methods: Study Models and Panoramic Radiographs of the clinical cases completed in the Postgraduate Orthodontics of the University of Santo Tomás were used, Sampling was carried out for convenience , the sample was made up of 50 study models. An instrument was made based on the assessment procedure of the criteria described by the ABO. The information was collected and manually typed independently by two of the researchers in Excel databases created for this purpose with the Microsoft Excel for Mac version 15.32 program, then these were validated in the Stata 14.0 statistical software for Your analysis Results: It was evidenced that the female sex prevailed with 58%. The diagnosis of class II malocclusion was the one with the highest presence (57.9%), 66.6% of the approved cases were for those completed with the MBT technique. Nearly 70% of cases with an OGS approval score required a period of more than two years of treatment. Conclusions: Of the 50 cases evaluated in the present study, only 3 met the ABO parameters, whose skeletal classification was class I. The parameters such as alignment and interproximal contacts were those with the best score, positively evidenced in the Completion of completed cases. 3 cases obtained 20 points or less, considered excellent, 7 cases in the acceptance limit and 40 cases, the group was less than acceptable. The other variables taken into account, such as gender, average result and duration of treatment, did not show direct association, and it can be concluded that there is no statistical significance that defines whether age, time and orthodontic technique performed influence the quality of the results of treatment. This result will depend largely on the ability and expertise of the clinician, to resolve the alteration or type of malocclusion of the case.
