In this project performed a descriptive investigation and its type was correlational, in Villavicencio city, the degree of influence on meteorological conditions in the concentration of PST and PM10 was determined, this was realized through correlation diagrams, those diagrams were obtained for SPSS and the daily recolection of particulate material in rainy times, during two months (May 16th to July 15th, 2018), in this process a sampler equipment HI- Vol was used. The velocity of the wind (m/s), the temperature (°C) and the precipitation (mm) it registered through the monitoring station of the SVCA of Villavicencio City, which is in the dispenser of fuel denominated Montealegre-Distracom.
The levels of contamination of PM10 are presented between the intervals of 16.65 to
7.58 ug/m3, so showing a negative association with the precipitation (r=-0.21) and the velocity of the wind (r=-0,2), and a positive association very low with the temperature (r=0.02). Equally, the levels of contamination of the PST, are presented between the intervals of 4.15 to 71.01 ug/m3 so showing a negative association low with the precipitation (r=- 0,25), and negtive very low with the velocity of the wind (r=-0.1) and a positive very low with the temperatura (r=0.04), in other words, the relationship between meteorological conditions (wind speed (m/s), temperature (℃) and precipitation (mm)) and particulate matter (PST and PM10) do not have a significant influence, since the degree of Correlation is very low.
With the investigation could establish where it comes from the contaminants and what place the contaminants go since the studied area through analysis of data that could realized with the Rose of the winds used with the program WRPLOT view-freeware and the rose of contaminants for the software free R and its package openair, obtaing a calendar which show us the magnitude of the concentration of particulate material (PST y PM10) and a abstract basic statistic of the contaminant data that captured, and this give us the result that drag of particles suspended by the wind, they come from the sur and they go to the North of the city.
