The proposal is based on an analysis of quality employment for young people in which the social responsibility of companies is observed as a tool to reduce unemployment and the informality of young people, specifically for SMEs in the service sector in the city from Bogota.
Based on this analysis, a public policy recommendation is elaborated based on criteria of corporate social responsibility, for the reduction of informal unemployment through the generation of formal employment or the formalization of existing jobs, connecting supply and demand and complying to social security standards, through the study of social responsibility incentives.
The methodology is based on the analysis of the large integrated household survey (GEIH) prepared by the DANE, to determine the behavior of the labor insertion and formal employment in the country by socioeconomic characteristics, this on the side of the labor supply ; On the demand side, a sample of SMEs from the services sector of the city of Bogota will be analyzed to determine what characteristics they fulfill of corporate social responsibility according to their own indicators based on GRI indicators and to analyze the determinants of the company's demand.
The project will be carried out in two stages, the first with the study of the labor insertion and the second with the analysis of the quality of young employment in these companies, starting from two points of view, the positive with the labor insertion and incentives and the normative with quality employment and its incentives.
