Resumen
The purpose of this work is to highlight the guidelines
Constitutional Law on the Fundamental Rights of the Person, specifically
the right to life and the right to health, in the elderly and the
moral behavior before the health crisis that we suffer.
The coronavirus pandemic COVID-19 has placed the world in a
crisis situation of extraordinary characteristics in recent history, in the
that the political rulers, officials of the Health Administration,
health professionals and citizens are having to make decisions
fast and large-scale in a context of great uncertainty. In this
exceptional scope, the events that occur and the decisions that
try to respond to them are generating ethical conflicts today and
violation of the fundamental rights of the elderly, by not
take care measures that have been contracted with the virus.
Based on statistics and information sources, we see that the
population most affected and most severe by the infection or how it has been
transmitted age as the main criterion for adequacy of intensity
care, is unacceptable moral conduct.
