Resumen
The sports training center for the discipline of cheerleading emerges as a response to the problem of developing a suitable space for the correct practice and training of cheerleading, supported by the methodology studied and proposed by the architect Peter Zumthor in his Atmospheres conference.
We define the discipline of cheerleading as the main function to fulfill the project, for an athlete to perform their training correctly the space must convey the feeling of spatial comfort, monumentality in its scale, concordance in its materiality and relate to its environment and users.
Consequently, the concepts of the atmospheric conference of Peter Zumthor are interpreted in order to generate the correct sensations around the building, the main sensation is based on reflecting the use of the building, for this reason the training center intends to project its stability and rigidity, that is security, for athletes at the time of making figures or lifts.
Bucaramanga is currently a city that is booming this sport, however, the infrastructure available for it is adapted and not designed. To determine the implementation of the project, the following are taken into account: pedestrian flows from areas of close influence, general accessibility to the project, both pedestrian and vehicular, connections with the city, the safety of the sector and according to the POT of Bucaramanga if the building is complementary for the sector
Goals:
Define training center and interpret concepts of the theoretical reference "atmospheres" for the architectural project approach.
• Characterize the city of Bucaramanga and analyze the types of sports centers and the lot to intervene, to determine the urban, formal, functional and technical characteristics to be implemented in each space.
• Apply the formal language of contemporary architecture and steel structures, in order to project the design under these guidelines and configurations.
