Resumen
One of the solutions that in the international arena has been consolidating for the termination of armed conflicts, is the design of transitional justice mechanisms. Those who have worked on it have raised the legal limits in the light of human rights and international humanitarian law and the need to evaluate the effectiveness of what has been implemented. This paper presents the analysis of criminal actions within the framework of transitional justice in three Latin American countries and their relationship with social indicators of violence in the post-conflict stage. One of the conclusions indicates that guaranteeing criminal action and the right to justice contributes to the stabilization of democracy and the strengthening of the rule of law.
