Resumen
Machinery, equipment and tools are part of the engine that drives the construction industry. The term construction industry is used around the world to encompass a collective of companies with very different practices that come together for a limited time at the site where an architectural or civil engineering job is to be executed. The scale of work ranges from a single worker executing a job lasting only a few minutes (e.g., repairing a roof tile, with equipment consisting of hammer and nails and perhaps a ladder) to large building or civil engineering projects lasting several years and involving hundreds of different contractors, each with their own skills, machinery and equipment. However, despite the enormous variety of scale and complexity of the work, the major sectors of the construction industry have much in common.
