Resumen
The present degree work to opt for the title of psychologists aimed to understand which are the meanings about sexuality that have been built by a group of students from the University of Santo Tomás who consume pornography. The research is carried out from a qualitative research model that uses the semi-structured interview as technique, where the participants were 10 university youngs consumers of pornography. In the development of the work, an approach is made to the research problem regarding the construction of young people's sexuality and the recognition of pornography as an influential element in the middle of a digital era where access to this type of content is a everyday phenomenon The epistemological stance of the present work is constructivist and from the theories of Bruner and Vigotsky the theoretical foundation of the meanings is made as an essential element for the understanding of the symbolic construction of sexuality. The results concluded that the meanings of sexuality of the participants revolve around the eroticization of the body and the consumption of pornography is recognized as an element that perpetuates hegemonic cultural patterns that generate stigmata and stereotype about women and their body, additionally annuls it in the framework of desire and pleasure, because it is objective for male enjoyment, although in a paradoxical way for the participants they point out this type of content as an element of learning.
