To begin with, developmental psychology describes adolescence as a period of transition between childhood and adulthood; stage of the life cycle characterized by variability and fluency of cognitions in adolescents, their emotions and behaviors due to important changes in the body, but especially in the brain (Berk 2006). According to this, according to the Report on the global situation of violence prevention (World Health Organization, 2014), the Youth violence is one of the many risk factors for health during the life cycle, because in addition Of this, it entails innumerable social problems associated with a “bad governance” (p. 6), norms cultural, social and gender, unemployment, income inequality, educational opportunities limited, among others. However, the cited document highlights that, multiple scientific studies demonstrate that violence can be predicted and prevented by implementing strategies that mitigate or cushion the different risks.
