Monografía de las monitorias en la asignatura de geología.

Abstract

The present monograph is the product of four semesters developing monitoring in the subject of geology, to the students of fourth semester of the faculty Civil engineering in charge of the engineer Guillermo Flechas Fajardo. In the monitoring sessions, the student is guided in the development of the assigned assignments as a complement of learning in the thematic of the course. During the four semesters, it was identified that the students have difficulties in elaborating a geological map in the software Qgis since in previous semesters there was no knowledge of the program, however with the joint work of the teacher and the monitors the realization of the Initial work (geological map of the assigned municipality), required for learning in the interpretation of geological mapping. In order to see the behavior of the units and geological structures in the subsoil, the geological profile must be elaborated putting into practice the knowledge imparted by the teacher and the orientation of the monitor. Reason that leads me to elaborate the present document in which I describe the step by step in a video tutorial that I have developed to facilitate the elaboration of geological profiles. 9
