Resumen
The results of the vertical jump have been related not only to the power, but also to the speed and agility of soccer players, which has made it a fundamental component of evaluation to determine the effectiveness of soccer training. Objective: To explore the association between body compositions, elastic index, power of the lower limbs and contribution of the arms during the execution of the Bosco test in professional indoor soccer players in Santander. Methods: A cross-sectional study was carried out in 13 subjects belonging to the Santander Selection of Futsal, who underwent anthropometric and muscle power measurements of the lower limbs using the Bosco protocol through the jump platform with the Sport Jump System. -v1.0. Results: The Abalakov test was the one with the highest median power (934w); Elastic Capacity values of 2 (1.6 -3.8), elastic Index of 6.8 (5.8-11.3) and a contribution of arms of 16 (10-18) were obtained. On the other hand, a positive association was evidenced between the powers with most of the anthropometric variables. Likewise, a positive relationship was observed between the elastic index with the variables of height, BMI, fat percentage, fat weight, residual mass, muscle weight. Conclusion: The use of the arms and the activation of the myotatic reflex may be an important determinant of the power achieved in the analyzed futsal players.
