Resumen
In the IPS INTEGRAL SOLUTIONS SD SAS a sample of users was analyzed
to determine the factors of absence from the arthritis program in patients
between 45 years and older, trying to identify the characteristics
sociodemographic of the same, through a descriptive study with
retrospective cross-section, using the Hanlon methodology.
The results obtained reflected that the causes of the absence of the
population were focused on 66% in women as the most non-attending and,
33% of men indicate low income that does not allow them to have the same
Availability of time to go to consultation or not to be a priority for
users. 81% of the population lives or reports that their residence is in the area
urban and 19% in rural areas and according to what was analyzed, the people who fail the most
to the consultation are those of the urban area, this in opposition to what was said by
several authors and studies that were described in the theoretical framework, because in addition
it can be concluded that the distance for this specific population is not a factor
taxpayer for non-attendance in the case of the rural area.
It can be concluded that the actions by the EAPB in reference,
monitoring and channeling through health promoters suffer from
continuous actions for non-attending patients and this is based on the
results obtained in the present study.
The population has low empowerment when it comes to managing their condition
health, risks and consequences, since 53% indicate that sometimes or
never receive an education, only 38% consider it important to attend their check-ups
scheduled and 55% reported knowing more or less or very little about their
sequels or consequences.
