The Occupational Health and Safety Management System is one of the most important Management Systems in Colombia, because Decree 1072 of 2015 has been issued, so that companies implement said management system in a mandatory manner in organizations . This Management System seeks the promotion of workers' health and disease prevention.
That is why organizations in the country are looking for models to implement said Management System. There are a variety of models that allow management systems to be implemented. These management models are implemented in organizations through direct workers, or through external consultants, which is known as consulting.
There are agencies that work continuously in the creation of tools to facilitate the implementation of SGSST programs or processes, one of them is the World Health Organization, which has a specific model on healthy work environments.
A healthy work environment according to the World Health Organization is one in which workers and process leaders generate a process of continuous improvement to promote the health of workers, prevent the occurrence of disease, promote the safety and well-being of workers and social sustainability in work environments.
Consulting in organizations through the healthy working environment model of the World Health Organization, facilitates the implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System.
