Análisis de factores de riesgo en procesos de remoción en masa, en la comuna 14 de Bucaramanga

Abstract

Disasters are the result of the constant interaction of man with the environment and cause material, economic and human losses. Due to the negative impact, they cause on the environment and society, international, national and local entities have found it necessary to carry out an adequate management for the prevention, mitigation, reduction and control of future risk scenarios. The present work constituted a review study where the antecedents of the commune 14 of Bucaramanga are exposed, as well as the causes and consequences of the presence of mass removal phenomena in this study area. In accordance with this, the local authorities of Bucaramanga have implemented the risk management plan for commune 14 in order to mitigate the possible effects of the population, with programs focused on improving housing, stability of the slope, and generation of knowledge, disaster reduction and management.
