Resumen
The following document contains the procedure to develop a self-learning digital resource (video tutorial) about the creation of the geological profile of the city of Tunja, through the processing of raster and vector models, using the software for Geographic Information Systems QGIS as a tool. The geological map contains the following specific information of the city: location of trails, geological formations, geological structures (faults, folds), drainages (rivers, streams), water bodies (lagoons, reservoirs and jagüeys), access roads (secondary , primaries). Also, some elements are included for description, representation and location in the plane such as level curves, graphic scale, numerical scale, conventions and wind rose.
As a whole, the article entitled "Flowchart for the construction of geological profiles through the processing of geographically referenced information of vector or raster type using software for geographic information systems (GIS) and computer -
aided design software (CAD)" is presented, as a theoretical and investigative support for the creation of the geological profile as well as the proposal of a standard label for the presentation of projects developed in the subject of geology
