Resumen
This research seeks to understand the meanings around virtual education by first-semester psychology students at the Santo Tomás de Villavicencio University, from the approach of virtuality as a process that is transited between the pandemic by COVID-19 and that entails challenges regarding adaptation to this new scenario that can be recognized from the meanings that give meaning to virtual education. A qualitative methodology was implemented from a hermeneutical approach, with the participation of three students, a teacher and a parent, based on conversational-reflective scenarios and thematic content analysis. The results reflect that there are narratively constructed meanings from the systemic interaction of students-family-teachers-institution that account for the recognition of the possibilities that the transition to virtuality entails, and that others also coexist where critical situations regarding the relational dimension of the transformed process are evidenced and that imply an urgent approach such as, for example, a greater integration of the family in its central role in the new educational reality.
