Resumen
Rapid technological advances and a highly technical society contribute to the increase of non-ionizing Electromagnetic Radiations, due to the constant use of electronic devices, which at the same time, generate an increase in the installation of antennas to guarantee a good service. This research project was executed at UPZ No. 27 Suba, one of the most populated of the city. It presents a geospatial analysis through the help of ArcGIS software, identifying telecommunication antennas and neighboring institutions, later the antenna inventory was verified and updated using Google Maps. Likewise, a transversal study of felt morbidity was carried out, which made it possible to determine the relationship between the proximity of the antennas and the possible adverse effects on health, through a descriptive analysis using graphs and a 2x2 contingency table; finally, a driving force model was made in which the indicators that generate an increase in radiation exposure and its possible consequences were taken into account. As a result of this research, it was identified that the influence of antennas on the health of the population is not significant, since the people who were surveyed do not present any type of morbidity. Also, the maps made it possible to identify that few institutions are within the buffer of the established 50 meters and, finally, the model allowed to organize the information, clearly identifying influential factors in terms of the increase in antennas and their effects in health.
