Resumen
This plan for the management of ordinary solid waste generated within the Corporation for Sustainable Development of the North and the Amazon East (CDA), Inírida - Guainía Section, presents a framework for evaluating the status of the CDA on the issues of control, characterization of ordinary solid waste, temporary use, eco-points and final disposal points.
Inside the CDA, 47 ordinary solid waste containers were found, distributed between the first floor (29 containers) and the second floor (18 containers), two ecological eco-points and an area for non-storage. without the right conditions because the residues were out in the open. The characterization showed a production of 21.52 kg / day, mainly folders, archival paper and cardboard were, in addition, a daily per capita generation of waste (gpc) of 0.37 kg / inhabitant / day and when projected per year, it gives 137.6 kg / inhabitant / year.
Once the survey has been completed by the staff, it is found that the greatest problem that the staff presents is with respect to the mismanagement of ordinary solid waste, which was not due to a lack of environmental knowledge but to the small amount of adequate containers or signage, which leads to an incorrect separation or arrangement at the source. 61% of those surveyed do not know about the environmental policies, plans or regulatory projects associated with the management of solid waste and 25% do not know the recycling color code to separate the waste at the source.
The monitoring plan consisted of four important activities, the first was to increase the use of ordinary solid waste generated within the CDA, the second establishes educational activities focused on the reduction, commitment, and sense of belonging on the part of the staff. of the corporation, the third is the adaptation of the areas for the use of ordinary solid waste and the fourth is the adaptation of the place of final disposal of the waste as established by the regulations.
