Abstract
The present investigation: Film analysis of the postmodern hedonistic discourse: subjectivity and social bond, seeks to contribute to the line of Subjectivity and Identities of the research group Psychology, life cycle and rights, of the Faculty of psychology of the Santo Tomás University, through the analysis of the postmodern hedonistic discourse and its relationship between the subjective constitution and the social bond, in order to favor the enrichment of psychological understandings from a psychoanalytic position, in the face of the imperatives of enjoyment that circulate in contemporary times that are expressed in social phenomena as, violence, the disassociation of the other, the commodified consumption of objects, among others. For the development of the study, a qualitative investigation was carried out in order to carry out the analysis of three Colombian film productions included in the period between 2000 and 2018. The qualitative content analysis technique was used to systematize, organize and interpret the information obtained from three deductive categories established in the disciplinary framework: a) Subject, b) Social bond and c) Hedonism. The results of the research point to the discussion of alternative approaches to the current ups and downs of the relationship between subject and society, through the characterization of new hedonistic manifestations, which are made visible through the evolution of culture and subjectivity, whose characteristics are possibly constructed from the fantasy proposed by the contemporary medial aesthetics available to the current Colombian subject. One of the main conclusions of the analysis is oriented to the discovery of hedonism in contemporary times directed towards enjoyment, which hinders its ethical commitment.
