The new COVID 19 pandemic has brought social, economic and labor consequences; Within these we can highlight the fundamental role played by health care personnel from the front line of care who battle every day against the new coronavirus - COVID-19, long hours of work, strict use of personal protection elements, imminent exposure to the direct risk of becoming ill from coronavirus, are factors that can trigger work stress in frontline nursing staff in COVID 19, understanding this as a disease and mental health problem in the work environment that is increasingly present in this type of professionals of the entities of the health, hence the importance of addressing this issue that brings consequences to health, social, emotional, family and of course work in these personnel. The objective of this monograph is to describe stress-related working conditions in frontline nurses during the COVID19 pandemic. Methodology: monograph with a qualitative descriptive approach, through bibliographic review in ScienceDirect, Scopus, Academic Google, Scielo, web pages of the WHO, PAHO, Ministry of Health and Social Protection of Colombia.
