Resumen
The faculties of Physical Culture, Sports and Recreation, and Psychology of the Santo Tomás University, promote research activity to contribute to the training and discipline of students, where issues such as resilience and sports are a link between these two areas of knowledge.
This document originates from the research assistance work at the university, whose main objectives are the generation of knowledge, through the production of new ideas and the solution of practical problems; is based on developing a research on resilience in sport, with a qualitative approach of the bibliographic review type, focused on cooperation - opposition sports, and the country of origin, year of publication, type of study, design was taken into account of research, population under study, psychological variables studied and the different sports. Since the studies on resilience are relatively new, scientific articles and literary reviews from the last five years (2016-2020) were taken into account, since in that time range there is the largest amount of literature on this topic, reviewed on average about 2000 articles. The general objective of the document is to establish the state of the art of resilience in cooperation sports - opposition in the last five years, and to achieve it, a process of decanting the information collected was carried out, of which 170 articles published in the five years They were selected because they presented cooperation-opposition sports as an object of study; Of these articles, 63 were the fundamental element for the realization of the document.
According to the above, the most related studies belonged to the year 2019, the majority published in Spain, with the type of quantitative study, with young people between 14 and 29 years old as the study population and soccer being the most investigated sport; the psychological variables most related to resilience have been motivation, optimism, social support, among others.
Based on the research analysis carried out, it is highlighted that it is necessary to continue with the research on resilience in sport, given the relevance that it is acquiring in recent times and more with the pandemic presented in the world in the current year, therefore, the States and sports organizations had to make huge efforts to continue with the exercise of different sports disciplines and that athletes could develop their competitive activities; Likewise, it was concluded that it is necessary to deepen the relationship of psychology with sports performance, observing different variables and the importance of the participation of the academy, not only in the sports field, but in other fields that influence sports.
